I have thirty years of experience in family law, divorce, custody, adoption, guardianship and conservatorship, juvenile law, and probate law. I have represented individuals and their spouses in the military in divorce actions and am familiar with family care plans, division of military pensions, and other military-related issues. I have worked with individuals with mental health issues and their families. I represent children in the Family Treatment Court in the Juvenile Court of Chatham County and am familiar with addiction issues and how they impact families.
I have thirty years of experience as domestic law mediator. I am registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
I am a parenting coordinator who has experience in family law and psychological impact of divorce. I help parents develop or follow post-divorce custody agreements with the aim of reducing parental conflict and unneccessary court appearances. Contentious divorces and their aftermath impact the parenting skills of the parents to the detriment of their children. I attempt to teach parents to put their children first instead of their issues with each other.
I am a Certified Child Welfare Law Specialist by the National Association of Counsel for Children.
